Thank you for visiting my website.
Since 1982 I have
limited my practice to bankruptcy matters and represent debtors and
creditors in consumer and business bankruptcy cases. By representing
both debtors and creditors I am in a unique position to advise a client
by drawing upon my experience and assessing a matter from both sides of
the case.
I am certified as a specialist in bankruptcy by the
State Bar of California and have received the highest rating (AV) the
Martindale-Hubbell organization bestows on attorneys for their
professional knowledge and ability, as well as ethical standards in the
conduct and practice of the law.
On October 17, 2005, the
“Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005" took
effect. Despite its impressive title, the main effect of the revised
bankruptcy laws is to discourage honest but unfortunate debtors from
filing for bankruptcy. While it is true that the new law makes the
process more complicated, the basic right to file bankruptcy and the
benefits derived from filing remain unchanged for many consumers. For
creditors, the law has been changed to favor the collection of certain
debts and provide more defenses in the event that a creditor is sued.
Now, more than ever, you need one-on-one expert advice from an attorney
that has the background and experience necessary to guide you through
the bankruptcy process.
My name is Radmila Fulton. My law
office is a debt relief agency. I help people file for bankruptcy under
Chapters 7, 11, and 13 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
